Unique and Personalized Baby Gift Ideas

Whatever the reason, gifts always have a great meaning. Especially for the receiver, a gift always means someone cares and really took the time to plan to give something to me. That's what is always in a recipient's heart. To make the impact stronger, opt for home-made or personalized gift. For babies, the impact is doubled because the parents are partly gifted by it also.

If you plan to give someone else's baby a gift, personalize it and the memories of you will always be there in that family. Some baby gifts may be something that baby would not use directly but would be one that could be used as a décor or as something just for her. Here are some unique personalized baby gifts which you can make at home using some store-bought things:

1. Recorded baby's sound or voice - Try getting a recording of baby's cries, gurgles, laughter, and goobledeegook talk. Record it in a disc. You may add children's music to it. Write baby's name with the date and place it was recorded on the disc label. For the disc jacket, also write baby's name. Top it with glitters to outline the name. Add nursery rhyme lines or Psalms from the bible if the family is Christian. Then, place on a decorative saucer stand. This is available in stores in a houseware or household décor department.

2.Wall-clock with baby's photo - You can use a printer to have baby's photo or just use his picture and trim it to the desired size to fit the wall-clock space. If you want to use the original picture directly, trim it to a shape you see fit. Outline with glitters. Paste on the upper part of the wall-clock's face. Add tiny baby-themed stickers on the clock's face.

3. Decorative clothes hanger - buy a set of children's hanger. For a baby girl, cover its outline with pastel-colored flowerettes and ribbons. Use your imagination to arrange the flowerettes mixed with the pastel - colored ribbons. If it's a baby boy, cover its outline with blue ribbon twined around it. Glue a big bow ribbon on the " neck " of the hanger.

4. Personalized prayer wall hanging - Write a personalized prayer for the baby, using the baby's name within the prayer. Print it in color, with the baby's photo and with background images. You can have it framed for a lasting use.

These are just some of the personalized baby's gifts you can easily make. The steps are simple and the gifts itself are practical and futile.
